I've started this blog....well because I think I should. I'm studying Indigenous Performance Practice and I need to start some conversations! I am desperate to speak about what I am reading and seeing, and I want people to tell me their thoughts. Collaborate, commiserate, correct, consult and confer with me - but most importantly - contribute. So here I am. Writing, talking, thinking, discussing. Go.

A Poll - A Posed Question - A Place to Start
OK - First real post...!
Who has seen any Indigenous performance in the past 2 years? If you have - what was it? If not - what do you think about that?
The last thing I saw was Nyuntu Ngali at STC, which was a production from Windmill and Big hART. A little bit more about that here: http://concreteplayground.com.au/event/3374/nyuntu-ngali-you-we-two.htm
As an aside, I did notice that Big hART are involved in an event at This Is Not Art this year, 'Nothing Rhymes with Ngapartji'. While living in HK might be a slight barrier to actually going along, it be worth looking into? You can download the program here: http://thisisnotart.org/
